Reuse Strategies for Chart Component Library

The real challenge with charts isn't the chart itself, but repeatedly reconfiguring colors, tooltips, and container dimensions every time.
I've extracted these common elements into a wrapper layer: the theme is read from design tokens, tooltips follow a unified format, containers are wrapped in an observable-size component, and business code only passes data.
After componentization, adding a new chart requires only declaring data fields and types. Styles and interactions are automatically inherited, ensuring consistent visuals across the page.
The biggest benefit isn't writing less code—it's that when you change the design, you only update it once and all charts across the site refresh automatically.
